The rules of the road

By accessing this website or requesting our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have authority to act for your business, and accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Strategy, marketing, fundraising, exit and automation engagements are described by a separate written proposal or statement of work signed by both parties. That document sets out the scope, fees, timeline and deliverables, and it prevails over these terms if there is any conflict. Submitting a contact form does not create a consulting contract.

Our CRM plans are billed monthly. Your plan includes base CRM access, plus one custom feature per month on the Plus plan or two per month on the Growth plan. Custom features are scoped with your advisor and delivered within the billing month in which they are requested.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for making sure your use of the CRM complies with applicable law, including email marketing and data protection rules.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the month already paid for. Payments are processed by a third-party provider, and their terms apply to the transaction. Fees for completed consulting work and for months already used are non-refundable except where required by law.

You agree not to:

• Use the CRM to send unsolicited bulk messages or to store unlawful content;
• Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours;
• Reverse engineer, resell or sublicense the CRM without written permission;
• Interfere with the security or normal operation of the website or platform.

The RBC CRM, this website and its content are owned by RBC Consulting and protected by intellectual property law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the CRM during your subscription. You keep ownership of the business data you enter. Custom features built specifically for you may be licensed under the terms of your service agreement.

Our fundraising and exit consulting covers business strategy, preparation and process. It is not legal, accounting, tax or investment advice, and it is not a solicitation to buy or sell securities. You should engage qualified professionals for those matters.

The website and the RBC CRM are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any consulting outcome, funding result or sale price will be achieved.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RBC Consulting is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability arising from the CRM is limited to the fees you paid for the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may suspend or terminate access to the CRM if these terms are materially breached, or if payment fails after reasonable notice. On termination you may request an export of your data, where technically feasible.

We may update these terms from time to time by revising this page. Continued use of the website or subscription after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated by email.
